FINALLY got my 350Z (2008 Touring M/T) - w/ Pics!
Hey all, just wanted to say ... I FINALLY joined the family of Z owners! I've been lurking on the forum, and wanting a 350Z for years. I test drove a dozen+ over the past four years-worth of car bugs, and the time finally came for me to buckle down and get dead serious about the quest about a month ago. I found myself a *very* clean 2008 Touring M/T, gray interior, with only 16k on the odo. I'm loving it. I can't express enough, how excited I am, but I'll attempt to through a few photos ...
I went from this:

... the last photo is with my good friend's 1994 RX-7 TT. That thing is one slick ride, too.
Thanks for checking out the thread!

Hey guys, thanks a lot for the 'grats and kind words about the car. I'd been looking for a low mileage carbon silver T/GT, M/T for quite some time. It's not necessarily easy tracking down exactly what you're looking for when you get as granular as color, mileage, trim level, & tranny, but it was worth the wait.
As for the photos, I was using a Canon 40D. In one of the shots, I used a couple of off-camera flashes (Vivitar 285HV) triggered remotely by Cybersyncs.
Here's one more that I didn't post because I am not crazy about portrait shots, and the flashes were set a bit too powerful:

Welcome
Nice ride! Are you finding it hard to adjust from having SO much room/cargo room and now having maybe 15% of that cargo room?
Also, I love the photography. Good set (it's nice to see the depiction away from a typical congested street/road, street signs, etc..). Good use of contrast and of the lighting on most of those as well

*SALUTE*
Houston and Texas in general seem to have a solid presence on this forum. Pretty cool!
It is still too new to answer this question with any credibility. I am single with no kids, and I rent (& generally subcontract moving hehe), so my need for cargo capacity isn't the same as some other folks'. And frankly my desire to drive a Z outweighed my desire to have hauling capacity - I mean having a Z has literally been a dream of mine for years. I'm sure there will come a time that I need cargo space, but I'll figure it out when the time comes hehe.
Thanks! No doubt about being well worth the wait. Although I won't pretend the wait was easy (patience is not a virtue of mine) - I was able to get *exactly* what I wanted, so I'm pretty thrilled about it (if I haven't made that clear in this thread already haha).

I hear ya. Same setup with me, single and no kids. I've wanted a Z for years and finally paid off my other car, so figured I'd get a fun car and keep my other for long distance driving
I often drive on a 500 mile round-trip some weekends (usually 1-2 times per month), so I don't want to rack up the mileage on the Z! Besides, upper-20's in MPG on Regular gas vs lower-20s on Premium gas... it's a $20 difference per fill-up!Didn't have as much cargo space in my other car as you did in your previous vehicle, but still have 2 or 2.5x as much as I do in the Z...
