Aloha
Just wanted to pop by and give a big Aloha from a new Z owner out in Honolulu, Hawaii.
After 6 months of searching, I finally found one. Everything literally fell into place as if it was predestined. Happy to say I'm the 2nd owner of a 44k mile 2004 Performance edition Z.
After meeting my wife back in 2005, My racing hobby went out the window. 5 years and 3 terrible family cars later I was finally given the OK to start looking for a sports car again, and after taking her (the Z and the wife) out on the highway last night after work, I can honestly say I could not be happier. Driving all those terrible cars just made the Z that much better.

Congratulations on the 04 Z. I can relate to your comment about your wife and cars. My Triple black 04 Z convertible is the first convertible I have owned in a long time that she actually likes. As my wife puts it...riding in that Corvette was like sitting in a bath tub. The Z's are fun and easier to live with. My Z is quicker than my BMW 328, 330, and my 94 Mustang GT. Vettes are Vettes, they squeak, rattle, and shake. They may be faster, but aren't necessarily nicer.

day 2.5 now...still smiling like a little kid
Sometime between last night and mid day today someone scratched my passenger door
Not that its an expensive exotic mind you, but I can now relate to Ferrari/Lambo owners that park side ways across 3 handicap stalls
total side note and probably stupid question, but is there anyway to make the threads read oldest post to newest rather than newest to oldest? If there is a way I just cant find it
