Default My New (to me) Z

Hey, I've been lurking around here the past week or so. I'm from Las Vegas and I finalized the purchase of my ride today and decided to join and post some pics. Its an 05 six speed, with an intake and a loud *** exhaust system. I don't mind little noise but this is a little too loud for me, any suggestions on how to quiet it down a little? Other than that, I love the car. We drove a G35 coupe, Turbo Jetta, Mustang, RX8, and a few others, but I fell in love with the Z. So here's some pics!

Grats on the purchase

and as for your question you might want to check ebay for exhaust silencers, either that or try googling them

Looks good. Now, about the exhaust. Do you know what all has been done to it? Test pipes, HFC's, headers? Normally just a cat-back wouldn't be over-bearing.

Get rid of that intake and get a stock one. That will make it not so loud for your sensetive ears

Great looking car with a stylish kit! Could use some new wheels (and wheel locks!) w/ good offsets to match the kit. Maybe a subtile color matched wing IMO but new wheels will really set that car off. Or more succinctly; get that bish rimmed up yo! Enjoy your new ride!

Thanks everyone. Yeah, right now the plans are to find some wheels, a subtle spoiler, and upgrade the sound. So far I'm loving the car though.

Yeah, the stock rims kind of destroy the look. I live by Charleston and the 215, close to Red Rock, I'm checking out the web site now.

You should find the old owner and punch him in the face for being yet another JDM fanboy who feels the need to incorrectly label his car as a FairladyZ.

Other than that man, like everyone else says, some nice rims should set it off, looks pretty clean. Congrats and good luck.

welcome! but you need to fix your bumper! It doesn't line up with the fenders on either side!
