Hey everyone i know the wing and eyelids look off but i chose them that color because i will be buying rims next and will also have black so i kind of wanted them to match all together. i know some of the ppl in here can be a little harsh but its ok i know how to take criticism hey we all got opinions and i just happen to like my car the way it is im not gonna say it doesnt need work, it does. but it will be little by little!!! by the way the rims i want to get are,

I LOVE eyelids but why black on the silver z? I know what your trying to do with the silver/black combo, but it doesn't work. Sorry bro but hey its your car any my opinion means nothing. Welcome.

 

Oh if that's what you want to do then you should of waited to put everything all on at once and not look like that while driving.

hey man check it out..
the spoiler, eyelids and front lip wouldn't look so bad if you got them painted the same color as the car.. the black look just looks "cheep" and thats not what you want to pull off when doin' mods..

I would also suggest some ground effecs I have the nismo ground effects on my car and I like them alot.. I think with ground effects.. it will help tie everything together but please man.. get those parts painted to match the car..
I see that everyone has kinda been quite cruel with the criticism but man.. lol.. they are just being brutally honest..

do what makes u happy but im telling ya.. if u are going to keep them on there.. matching them with color of car will make it look 10 times better

 

I know you want the whole black and silver look, but eyelids and spoiler will look much better if painted the same color. Leave the lip that color and get black rims. If you do all the above, your car will look a million times better and the two-tone will look clean and sick.

 

the black wheels with a machined/polished lip will make it look better.. (please don't get all black wheels lol..)

re-think getting them painted..
besides.. the whole black siliver look only works if you get like half the car painted black.. not just slap on components..

get them $hits painted silver ASAP lol..

 

i like eyelids, but not yellow ones on a daytona blue or black on a silver. just saying. color match them and the front end will be very aggressive. right now the eyelids stand out like a unibrow on a chick

 

lose the eye lids and wing...

 

color match the wing and eye lids add some wheels and get some sides other wise it just looks weird

 

Paint your eyelids the color of the car.

Remove that rediculously large rear wing.

Here is sorta what I think is ideal.. and tasteful (because its my Z heh..)


car is slightly lowered, 18" wheels, small rear spoiler, nismo ground effects, tinted windows..

end result.. something that i think is slick and doesn't look like it came out of a cracker jack box..

not saying you should copy this.. only posting my car cause it is silver as well.. and just showing you what I think looks good

btw.. to someone that knows.. what silver is my car? I know there are several diff. silver colors.. I just don't know which mine is exactly..

 

welcome to the Z community! mod your Z to your liking with whatever makes you happy but heed everyone's advice and suggestions in terms of putting ricey mods on your new car. you want to start off on the right foot..

 

Welcome and grats.

Agree with others, before you throw on a lot of little mods- get bigger things which kind of take you a step above rice first- get wheels. Don't throw away the wing and lids and lip, but at least take them off for now. Or paint the lids same color, it'll look much more elegant. imho
