Update!: 12/3/2010

So the last couple days have been painful. I've debated selling the Z and getting an Evo or STI to be able to commute during the winters. I don't really want a 3rd car to take care of. So buying a beater isn't something that I want to do this year. I found a couple Evo's that I was really interested in. However just the difficulty it would present to sell the Z and then find an Evo within my budget in a very short time. (Probably 24hrs to 48hrs) I decided to hell with it and keep the car. I've already dumped enough money into this car to buy another cars' worth. So without further delay, my new purchase, hopefully they'll ship tomorrow.

BC Coilovers

I still have to figure out where to install them since I don't have a garage. I may have to wait until it warms up to do it. Price was $1085 shipped with camber kit for the rear.
Thank you www.my350z.com/marketplace !!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm in kind of a pickle. I can't decide which front camber kit to go with on the car. I'm pretty skeptical on the ball joint setup on the Kinetix (pic 2) than the Ichiba (pic 1). Both seem have good reviews, but I wonder which one would be less of a hassle to deal with and more reliable. Any thoughts?

Also updated the first post with progress.

Very nice. Just curious... was the stock radio Bose? If so, any issues w/ buzzing or engine whine once you swapped out head units??

I did not have the stock Bose setup. Sounds like you need to hit your belts with some WD40.

I meant thru the speakers... typical issue when dealing w/ Bose systems.

But thanks for the lack of help. That seems to be a trend on this site when people try to find an answer to a problem they're having. Honestly, it's pretty sad so many resort to being a smartass or a jackass on this site when they have no idea who they are talking to and would definitely act differently in person... unless they really are a jackass in real life... which is possible, I'm sure.

Good luck w/ your mods!

Ez Bro, I wasn't being sarcastic, I was being honest. My god, you asked me a question. I gave you an answer, I had some whine with my car before and that's how I solved it. I didn't have the Bose system in my car, nor have I heard of that issue before. I don't see the sense in me researching about something I'll never deal with. I just gave you a straightforward answer, no bull s**t. I'm not Dr.Phil, sounds like you've been told of by a lot of members on this site. Maybe you should nut the f**k up and stop being such a baby; take an answer for what it is, an answer. Is that enough sarcasm for you.

You obviously did not read/understand my question to you when I asked if you had any buzzing or engine whine once the radios were swapped? Why would you infer that WD40 would help in any "engine buzz or whine" when someone asked you a question about the radio??

As for you giving me a "straightforward" answer, you gave me what appeared and came across as a smartass answer. You could've just simply said.. "no, did not have the stock Bose and did not have that issue." That would've been a straightforward answer.

I can handle sarcasm all day long... if it's in the right context, time or place... yours wasn't sarcasm... it was completely off the mark and I wasn't asking for you to research any problem you didn't have. I merely asked the question to see if you were experiencing the same problem I've had and others in this forum have had. Pardon me for not "understanding" what forums are intended for... well, at least this one, it seems.

Actually, no. I was merely making an observation from what I've seen on this forum from A LOT of people on here. There are tons of people on here that will reply to someone on here w/ an insult or smart *** remark instead of coming back with a resemblance of help, insight or assistance. Apparently, that's just a by-product of today's generations that spend more "face time" online than dealing with people face to face.... if anyone actually knew who the person on the other side of the forum conversations on here they would not act the same as they do on here. And surely, I would hope that most people wouldn't reply back w/ a "Maybe you should nut the f**k up and stop being such a baby..etc.."

Take it with a grain of salt. It's the internet, for every 1 good answer you'll get 3 troll answers. Learn to live with it; with that being said, please stop cluttering my thread with your debate over your interpretation of my statement.

Clean car though Zlatan. I love the way black wheels look on chrome silver/silverstone z's. Im planning on powdercoating my wheels in the near future just unsure about how much $$ it will cost me.

Did you enjoy your audi?

Thank you,

I agree, silverstone/chrome silver/carbon silver really look good with dark wheels. Powdercoating shouldn't really cost more than $300-$400.

The Audi was a good car, just slow lol.
