One more thing to consider is that the 06 6mt cars had serious oil consumption issues in some cars. Mine has no issues, but it is something to look out for, ie: check your oil frequently. With as low as your miles are on the car though, the extended warranty may still cover an engine replacement if your car does have consumption issues

You can see if you are losing oil at least. Also black buildup in the exhaust tips is a hint at excessive oil burn. Either way, keep an eye on it.

you have a 3.5 rear end ratio, i would swap to the 3.7 or 3.9 and install a proper LSD (OS Giken, Quaffe etc etc)

YOu will only slide off the road if you push it past the limit. First thing i do for spirited driving is turn off the TCS/VDC and have no problems (yes i did slide off the track a couple weeks ago, but was pushing the car hard in race like conditions)

Got a track day at willow springs in less then two weeks, come out and learn to drive you new car. You will also learn how lame drag racing is once you get on the roadcourse.

mine doesnt have any black dust on the tips now, and i check the oil frequently, it has not eaten any since i got it according to the dipstick. my oil pressure is very low at idle however, like 0 in neutral. it goes way up when accelerating so i am not sure if its normal or not. i will keep my eye on it. yay for the +30k warranty.

3.5 rear huh. thanks, i was kidding about the sliding off the road thing, just exaggerating a bit. i race a 73 camaro with a locker normally. lol. plus i am gonna drift this car for fun later. no need for traction control.

i would love to go, i will keep checking my schedule and let you know how serious i am and contct you for more info. thanks for the invite
