On the lifts for the rear struts, this common for them to go out.I'll its only one side thats shot. But,you gotta buy in pairs.I recommend you buy a name brand. There are some on E-BAY,generic imports...They send you adapter mounts.I ordered some. The weld broke on one side the first time I closed the lid.Z-1 is a good source for parts in your region.
They are outside Atlanta. The guys there know their stuff!Don't know about the sunroof...But,its..on the car.
You do not have Brembos. They did not come on your model. Also,Brembos are easy to I.D.The caliper covers are RED...say,BREMBO..duh!
Congrats on your Z...get some 19's to replace those 17's !

About the truck, yea those are the pumps in the back. Ive got 4 viair 480s, a 5 gallon tank, 2 1/2 and 6 3/8 valves. Has a 3 link setup in back and no, its not body dropped...yet lol

Anyways, the guy did state that he didnt think the sunroof was stock but he didnt do it, the 1st owner did. It doesnt leak so it doesnt bother me. Do any Z's come with a sunroof?

One more question, when ordered wheels alot of people are stating that wheels may fit depending on the brakes. How do I figure out if I have the brembo brakes? I guess thats how its spelt.
No Z'S came with sunroofs.If you wanted a sunroof,you'd buy a G35.
As I said in my prev. message, you don't have BREMBOS.If you order wheels, they will ask you this. The difference on the wheel is the clearance
fot the caliper. You have,non-BREMBO.Wheels...your gonna get all kinds of opinions...how much$ you have to spend is the starting point. You can spend
$1,500 for a set of 19's& tires all the way to the moon...a grand a wheel on up.Also, you have a "staggered set" of wheels. When shopping, you will hear
about this term.Hey,need any other info,PM me.I livenear Atlanta.
Be glad to assist!

Im back, been awhile since Ive been on. Since I purchased the car Ive done some minor changes.
started off by tinting the tails

Took a trip to the beach, where I didnt get so great mpg on the stop and go strip lol

Got some new wheels for it

working on tinting the headlights and the door handles

All back together

and I was just messing around on google and found this picture, I really like it, makes me want a body kit, and 20's =/

Also got a double din for it.

I think my next move will be to paint some of the trim pieces like this guy did.

Headlight tint and wheels = no bueno. Bummer you didn't listen to phreak's advice about wheels. Oh well, happy modding.

What was your bike worth? Basically I am just curious how much you ended up paying for it.

Blacking out the tail and headlights is really played out at this point. Wheels are not so great. Just my opinion. Also you really need a new shift ****. Congrats on the Z!

Must have missed his comment, what did it say? I respect everyone's opinions but I'm building the car to my likings, not everyone else's.

Bike was worth around 4000-4500. Guy wanted 10 for the car, traded the bike and 4g so got about 8 in the car.

Yes, you are allowed to build the car to your liking but at least put some research into it. Your new wheels have a worse offset than the stock wheels. The tint on your headlights makes it look like you drive a honda. It may sound like we are being harsh but we really are trying to help you.

I Was trying to buy new headlight but haven't found any, I tinted the stock ones due to cracks and the yellowish film they formed. I like it tho, even if it makes it look like I'm driving a Honda. To me it turned out great, and makes it stand out from the other z's running around town.

What offset would you recommend on a set of wheels? Also, why do you feel the stock wheels hve bad offsets?

Yeah, headlights aren't cheap so I feel you there. As for the wheels, trust me dude, you can do better and it doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. Try to search the plethora of wheels threads here so you can get some knowledge on the subject. Then, when you think you are ready to buy something, make a thread or pm someone here about the wheels you are considering and go from there.

However, if you are truly happy and don't care what people think then I would leave this site forever and never come back. Your wallet will thank you later.

I dropped back and found his comment, not the same whes that I purchased. Why do you feel they are so wrong? There not really sunk in, alot better than that "hellaflush" stuff people are running. About the wallet comment, running these wheels will eventually do what?
