Default Hello

new member to the family. Picked up a 2003 350z 6MT Touring model recently and I sold my baby (1972 240z) to do so.

I've always loved Z cars and I'm happy to be a part of this forum; I came here to soak up as much info as I can about my new ride.

Looking forward to learning alot from you guys in the near future.

I'm from Galveston, Texas btw.

I got here 7 years ago when my wife started medical school. She's now a 3rd year resident and I still haven't got bored with the city. Summers are great, always something going on downtown and it's a pretty quite most of the time.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Me and the lady are considering moving out there. I'm originally from CA so I've been missing the water. The gulf is actually nicer than most people make it out to be (at least in Galveston). We stayed in Pointe West. Checked out Seawolf Park, Moody Gardens Rainforest Pyramid, and the Aquarium. Definitely had a great time.

Ok, enough of my chatter. Enjoy your new ride.

Z-car looks clean, though I would have had a hard time selling the S13 to do so! I've had a few of them myself. . . time for another me thinks.

verdict. you would like Galveston full time. Kind people, great weather, and low cost of living.

As far as the 240z goes, it just got too expensive to keep around. But it was a blast to drive and in a few years, I'm going to buy another one and use it as a weekend car. I had a sweet L28et build going and I'm definitely going to miss the torque.

Anyway, thanks for the welcome guys!

We restored and raced a 240Z last year for endurance "cheap" racing. You will probably appreciate this story. Our next race with the car is in just two weeks:

Here I am, ready to head out for my first 2.5 hour stint:
