350z = new track toy
hey guys
Just thought id introduce myself....just picked up a new 350z for cheap and going to turn it into my new track toy. Its not going to be too crazy...but something i can enjoy on the weekends for a little fun!
I swung by fontana nissan today and spoke to scott in the performance parts dept and we went over a lot of options for me and the car. It was refreshing that he didnt push a bunch of expensive parts on me...but rather spent the time to find out what my goals and budget were first. We are working together to put a gameplan to build the car in multiple stages money allowing.
Look forward to chatting with you all!

Congrats!
I'd consider used parts for sure, as they are typically 50-80% the cost of new parts. For example, I am about to start parting out my track car which has many great parts that someone - like you - could purchase. Wheels, suspension, safety equipment, etc., all get very expensive!
What's your experience? You may be faster in a stock Z33 after spending some money on driving education versus making the car have more power and ignoring driving development.
