i've been looking to replace the y pipe. just wondering if anyone here has already done this on the stock exhaust. also been toiling around with getting test pipes, but i've read so many conflicting reviews on rasp noise.
anyone halp?

What is the reason for changing the Y pipe?As another poster mentioned, this change is common on a stock system. If you change the Y pipe, what results are you expecting to get?On the test pipes,do you live in a area that tests for emmisions? If so,HFC's would be what you need.I am assuming your exhaust is stock?Any changes such as test pipes/
HFC is gonna make the car louder.Rasp with some test pipes has been an issue.I also am running ART pipes. No rasp, very happy with them. They are a bit pricey.
You may want to(if you have not already)listen to some sound clips on various exhaust combos.

Just do some HFCs for now. It'll give you a little more growl and you'll be able to stay emissions compliant.
I think I've got some Berk HFCs on clearance unless someone sold them over the weekend. if you're interested, let me know.
