Default Future Z owner...Torn between two cars.

I am pretty set on buying a 2004 Touring Roadster. It has never been in an accident and only has 66,000Km ( I am canadian.) There is also a 2007 Enthusiast Roadster available for $10,000 more and has 73,000 km.

Is the 2007 worth the increased price or should I stick with the 04?

Any help would be appreciated.

Somewhat!

it's all done to what you gonna put into either as a owner...

I say buy the 07...but hopefully you have extra cash for upkeep incase previous owner didn't do little things.

Sorry wrong forum. This is where new 350Z owners post photos of their car. And we say “Congratulations!”

I have an '04 Roadster. No way is the '07 with more miles worth 10k more if they are in similar condition. You can do alot of great mods with much less than 10k. It really depends on what you have in mind. Besides the different engine there are small differences on the '04 like No TPMS, cup holder in passenger side dash which can break and rattle, center console has the automatic door which I really like. Overall I love my '04.

In the Canadian market, that 10k gap is average. So take the American posts with a grain of salt. One can get a 2004 roadster for around $14k and some 2007 Coupes go up to $28k.

Personally, I would spend the extra 10k and get the 07. Much nicer IMO. What are the prices of the cars though?

The 04 is priced at $16,800 CDN

The 07 is priced at 27,700 CDN

They are both in very similar conditions. I am still leaning towards the 04, but don't really know enough about 350s to know for sure. I don't think I would miss the redesigned engine too much and I am not a fan of the bulge on the hood of the newer 350's...

Get the '04. It is not worth 10k more to me for 7000 more kilometers compared to the '04.

the 07 is way nicer but for 10k more with more miles... I'd save the 10k, put 06+ lights, tails, bumper, hood, and definitely wheels... on that 04

That being said... what kind of wreck was the 04 in??? that would ultimately be the deciding factor... my 07 vert is bad azz and has just 17k miles now.. HR engine much better...

I wouldn't consider and older model unless that was all my budget would allow me to get... and not considering a newer model until the Z gets factory turbos again

Hmm I wouldn't split hairs over 7000kilometers (4350miles) ... its the equivalent of roughly one oil change lol

But if you wouldn't miss the redesigned engine and you don't like the hood bulge. Than maybe the '04 is for you. Because like others have said, swap the headlights and tails and bumper and you have a good looking car for a lot less.

Love my 05 roadster touring, catches peoples attention with the top down. The orange seats and brembos look awsome,Watch out for faulty manual trannies.
