Default 2008 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast

Hello everyone.

I just purchased a used black/black 2008 350z Enthusiast with less than 11000 miles. it appears stock and was very, very clean. I do think it sat out in the Florida sun for the last 3 years (originally sold Feb 2009).

It has some scratching on the interior black painted surfaces at doors and center consul. If seen some replace/paint/cover those surfaces. If you have done so please post your images and describe the method you used to correct that interior design flaw of the 350Z. There are not many things wrong with the car but that is a major one. Luckily it can be fixed.

When all else fails, wrap it in DiNoc Carbon Fiber

The door switch panels and console being scratched, especially at 11k is not a design
flaw. Its problem with the previous owner not giving a s-it about caring for his car.
More than likely from a bracelet ,ring or something similar. You can wrap it or,if you have the funds, install a CF molded piece or overlay.Would go well with your black car.
Check my veh. images for interior shots of this type of overlay.

Thanks for the reply. For your car, you choose the CF wrap correct, over your existing parts? That isn't a replacement CF wrapped part?

Also, love the leather. Mine is not leather but I would like that. Are those covers or upholstered in leather? Did the car come with it, or after market? If the later, can you provide the info?

Good find with such low mileage. As long as the engine hasn't been neglected you'll be fine.

Update:

So over the last few days I put on about 800 miles, going down to Miami and back. I was surprised at the ride quality, it bought it would be harder on my back. I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't get too crazy, got up to 95 on occasion when passing. It goes from 80 to 95 quiet fast. In town it was just fine as well, my only complaint is trying to go slow from a stop. Perhaps my foot is too heavy.

On the issue of top speed, anyone know what the 2008 is?

I believe it's governed at 155. I haven't pushed it, but my governor was removed with Cobb retune

Why, is that too much?

I should add that I didn't pay that much, more like $24k. Then added about 2k in warranty stuff like service and wrap coverage to 100k miles. Then minus my 06 ranger trade in I ended up around $18500.

I think its too much, considering the car is four years old and cost 30k brand new. But that is just my opinion.
