My Z (Pics Inlcuded)
Whatup gents, just picked up my first Nissan a few days ago, wanted to give you all a look. 2005 enthusiast
I picked her up at the auction down here for 7k (I work at a used car lot/repair center) 109k miles with accident to the front end. I called the police dept for the city it happened and they said it was a very minor deal.
The wheels are 20in unfortunately, but they don't look too bad IMO
As far as any other mods I don't know yet. I'm positive it has stock exhaust, but it sounds badass. Some kind of aftermarket intake also.
As of now the other thing pressing I need to get is a new clutch kit, as the bearings on mine are pretty shot. There's a few interior compartment doors that are missing but they are on the way as I type this
Repairs I've managed to get done so far is replaced the radiator fan unit, one of the fans wasn't working properly. There was a small oil leak from I'm not sure where, dude at my shop fixed it before I got the chance. I would like to check our the rear end since I've heard there was some kind of problems with this years model (if anyone could elaborate that would be ****). Replaced pass. mirror due to cracking. Lastly I replaced all fluids and repaired the front bumper with paint (I guess from the accident). Also did some touchup work on the front panels. Oh and the hatch hydraulics went bad but after replacing them the trunk isn't quite flush with the roof...gonna have to figured that one out.
Okay thanks for reading my novel now onto the pictures

I'm going to be keeping her NA (previous srt4 owner
), and fairly simple. My number one priority is replacing super worn parts due to high mileage, once I get a detailed look at everything. I know it won't be anything real expensive.
I'd like to focus on suspension, then engine performance. I would really love to go to the track someday and do a little autocross. Any advice is welcome.

Welcome, quite the deal you got on the car
Those are the Axis shine wheels - 19s are better, but 20s don't look bad.
Looks like you have a 04.5 or 05
enth. edition
Never heard of the trunk not being flush with the roof, that's kinda weird
plenty of info on this forum, good luck

Thanks for that, I didn't even bother to look 'em up but they actually seem pretty decent.
I had been searching for a long time at the few local auctions down here and FINALLY found this one. Luckily for me working at the dealership I am able to get cars usually at pretty awesome prices.
I'm thinking the shop ordered the wrong size hydraulics or something, maybe they got universal instead of vehicle specific.
It is an enthusiast BTW 2005. Should've said that from the getgo

welcome and congrats.
i remember seeing some post a while back about the hatch struts being switch around opposite of what they were and it would cause it to be off. i'll try to find the thread and post the link for you.

I remembered now it was a TPS I think? The thing about the clicking noise in the rear end...really want to check that out and hopefully be able to fix it myself. Don't want to go to dealership if I don't need to.
welcome to the forum man. Love the blue color looks really nice.
For suspension something for a good price and quality Powered by Max coilovers with their rear toe and camber arms $1350 for the coilovers and $250 for the rear camber arms, and $250 for the toe arms both adjustable for camber. definitely get smaller rims before any suspension though or it will rub a lot probably.
The aftermarket strut bar is a Sport JDM i have the same one and the intake looks like the ones they sell at autozone. lol. I just know they sell spectre intakes there, if your keeping the ram air intake get a heat box around it so your not sucking in the hot engine air. A lot of people fair to realize this cooler air in engine = better performance. Hope this helps man!

get rid fo the ebay intake as fast as posible, they can cause a host of issues and are very poor quality.. you will be astonished at the difference in preceived low end if you get a stock airbox back on that car..even w out a k/n.. i swear to God, its well documented here. Search the classified section, buy a used one ehere from someone who went FI or has an intake.. youll be very very glad you did.

Thanks alot for that advice, I'm gonna check a little later if I can get a decent price on a new OEM with tax ID. If not I'm gonna check out a JWT popcharger!
Another interior thing I forgot to mention is the dead pedal is completely missing lol...not sure how the hell that happened. Replacement on the way.
I'm gonna go to the shop right now to switch those trunk things around and see if it goes flush. Will take pics of the shop for you guise too!

I don't plan on keeping that intake though
