Default Hello

Hey guys, new z owner here. Just got a 04 350z roadster touring. Loving the car so far. I have rims on the way, got a new CAI installed and new head unit. I do have one question that I have been trying to do some research on as I am not too smart on electrical systems on cars. I have the bi-xenon headlights and I want to get halo headlights but all the websites are telling me they arent available for me. Is there a way to revert from the bixenon setup in order to install the halo headlights or is it just out of the question seeing as how they use the dr2(i think) bulbs. Thanks for any info available.

Welcome. Post some pics when you get a chance.

As for your headlights, it's possible to revert from xenon to halogen. But why would you want to downgrade from the superior 06+ bi-xenon headlights? Are you sure you have the 06+ bi-xenon and not just the '04 xenon? There's a difference. I only say this because you mentioned D2R bulb. The 06+ take D2S (I believe the notches are different between the bulbs). Your light output will decrease greatly. You're better off spending the money on the iron man mod, which is similar to a halo effect. Search on here and you'll find your answers. These topics have been discussed plenty of times.

Be prepared to get flamed for the ebay headlight comment. Those headlights and tail lights aren't taken kindly here.

Happy Modding!

Thank you for the welcome. To be honest I am not sure what type I have. I mean from what it seems these headlights are HID I am guessing. They are the stock headlamps for an 04 roadster touring and when I search the specs they tell me they came stock with the bi-xenon hid's. Ill continue searching anyways. I plan to make this car the way I want it to be. I understand that others may not like something I may choose to do to my car, it just comes with the territory.
