Welcome to the forum

The Legalis is is a great exhaust, but our cars and NA street monster do not belong in the same sentence. You can have every bolt on available and not make much more power than stock.

That's just excited newbie talk. Sounds a little goofy when I read back over it. Ill come back down to reality in a few months.

Then I'll be back on track with Motordyne Test and resonated Y-pipes, and eventually an Uprev tune. Im still not sure on headers though. I still have a lot of reading to do.

From what I have read dont bother with the headers. You dont gain alot becasue the factory ones are so efficient. The cost isn't worth the gain. Plus mine is really loud right now, I cant imagine it with headers.

post a video once you get the XYZ on. I have a Fuji exhaust and I'm thinking of going with the ART pipe and the XYZ w/ HFC.

I did the motordyne ART test pipes and Motordyne Shockwave TDX2 exhaust. You can see it and read about my build so far here: https://my350z.com/forum/new-owners/...ner-in-nj.html

Got bored and ordered ART Pipes. I can't wait to get home and get these installed.

So far I have stockpiled 370Z Wheels, BC Racing coilovers, SPC Camber arms, Resonated XYZ, ART Pipes, and Uprev Cable. I just need a little time off for install, dyno tune, and another trip to the track.

Got Em...and the 370Z lug nuts.

Now I'm second guessing myself though. I'm really considering staying with 18s and buying Rays Gramlights.

I just bought them from erkthejerk for $1000 and the lugs for $75. I'll lose the shipping, but I don't want to lose on the wheels. The ad from erk is not too far back in the wheel classifieds. I'll attach the spacers to the wheels and ship it all to you for $1200.

Here is the picture that made my mind up.

I was going to keep the stock- clean look. But now I'm leaning more towards aftermarket wheels and bodywork.

Just picked up a 3.69 VLSD pumpkin from a G37S. I've got a garage full of parts and no time to put them on.

I didn't get a baseline dyno, just because I don't have the time. But, here is what the car made. The first run is with aFe filters, HPS Tubes, ART Pipes, Motordyne Y, and Fujitsubo exhaust. The next run is with the same mods plus UpRev. The tuner said these cars make about 230-235 hp stock on his dyno, and he showed me a dyno of a full bolt on DE that made 254 hp. Maybe that will give a little perspective.

Here are a couple of iPhone vids just for an idea of what it sounds like. The Fujitsubo was only slightly louder than stock, but much deeper. The Moto/Fuji combo is noticably louder outside the car with that hollow-headered sound. Inside the car is much louder. I think I'm going to need some dynamat.

I am extremely happy with the results. Traction was not an issue before these mods, now the car breaks loose very easily. New tires are a must. The difference in acceleration is night and day. Test pipes, Y pipe, and Uprev was all installed at JTran Studios in Houston. I will be using them for everything. They are a great group of guys.
