Default Finally, switched over to Nissan...

My name is Tim and I'm from Nashville, TN but moved to Baton Rouge, LA to work Hybrid Racing (a Honda specific company that specializes in K-series motors) a couple years ago. I've been a member since 08 and have always love z's, but my first love was Honda. I have owned just about every body style since 89 to 00. I just sold my 97 hatchback that I've had for 5 years and built it ground up by myself. I got offered the right money and took the plunge. I so far don't really "regret" it yet... lol. Two days after I sold my green car a co-workers friend came by the shop and said he was selling his car. So I peaked outside and noticed he was in a 04 z. So we started talking and I test drove it. Well needless to say a couple days later I bought it for $8700. Knowing that it need some work here and there, but it's nothing I can't do myself or source a cheaper option.

So enough about me here is my old car:

Here is the Honda-Tuning feature from a year ago: http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/f...vic/index.html

Here is the new car:

I pretty much fell head over heals for this car. It reminds me of my green car but wayyyyy more comfy and I kinda like having torque. LOL.

My plans are v2 bumper w canards, Gram light 57dr, Ksport coilovers, and some interior things. I want to keep it mild and nice.

Thanks for your time!

Welcome and congratulations.

The 350Z has a big windshield. Lots of room for stickers. How long before you add the RICE?

Welcome. First comes lust, then love. I always have loved the Z since I first sat in one back in 2005. It's something you just can't control.

Keep it simple and clean. Enjoy!

Welcome!Sorta deja vu with my car.Yours is before.Mine is after!
Very,very clean Honda!
I'd do some more searching on the front bumper.
That v2 lip is gonna be low especially with coil overs.

The stickers are my sponsors. I work in the industry and I appreciate when someone puts my company on their car for shows for exposer. My front bumper needs to be replaced or repaired and re painted. I may look into just a lip for now until I get use to it. My lip on the green car sat pretty low so I'm somewhat use to it. The car already has a intake and exhaust. But I will fine tune it but just gonna take my time w it. No rush.

And thanks for the welcome! I had a close friend that had a auto z and I loved it. So when I came across this chance I jumped on it. I'm going to be doing a lot of research on here and make sure I take care of her!! It's a total different feel of a car than a fwd Honda. However my green car would kill this one, I really enjoy the ride and torque of the z
