my headlights have weird looking 'drip' stains that appear to be on the inside??
either way, i was thinking to just replace mine as well = /
+1 for selling the 240 and getting a 350. The first year the 350 came, i told my wife i was gonna nab one as soon as they hit 10k...
I like the zenki s14s, but i'm always an s13 guy

I went the other way around, ditched the 350Z car in favor of the 240SX, more potential, more reasonable priced parts, plenty of knowledgeable people out there willing to help me with the new project, & a hell of a lot less $$$ for more HP.
Welcome aboard, hope you won't be sorry with your choice.

You should be fine, I recently bought some tail lights where the guy tried to smoke them and messed it up. I used a different process but I sanded it with 600 and finished with 800. Then sprayed some clear base mixed with some black base I had laying around and cleared them, came out fine.
You could even get away with starting with 1000 as long as you stop when you start getting to the plastic. Depending on how much paint is on there, it might take a while to sand with 1200.
