Wheels, bumper, paint the hood and remove the decals. Does not have to be in that order, i would actually start with the decals.

there are some real asshats on this forum.

anyway I like the Nismo stickers, and maybe the Mishimoto. it isn't bad.

like everyone and their mother has said, lose the stickers.

polish or paint the intake manifold. let's see how you look after that.

Are you serious?

I'm relatively new here, but those so called "asshats" are doing a fine job at maintaining this site and keeping the community here alive. This thread seems like a pretty normal reaction to me. Z's are clean, so it's an eyesore to see rice consume such beauty. I don't really understand where the logic is in your post

Just my $.02

"ricetastic." <- Is this constructive?
"Move to 17 year olds with Z thread?"
"car looks like trash...learn to drive car"
"please don't post more pics...can't take it"
"why would you even bother posting...disgusting"

WTF? I am serious.

there is a lot of heavy negative criticism and offhand comments. it actually makes the community smaller since people will be reluctant to get involved in show and tell and discussions.

the right way to go about it is to demonstrate how to make cars look better instead of saying this is bad, that is bad, those are bad. for example, i made my first post on this forum and immediately someone said they didn't like my rims, like it was wrong for my car. it's not about being wrong or right. someone thought those wheels looked good. and i didn't ask for an opinion on my wheels, by the way. i know what they are, and i know what i like too.

the previous owner was trying to make the car look race-y with a show car aesthetic. the sponsor/company name/tuning company stickers stem from race cars and high end international tuning showcase cars. it's a good idea but it's overdone.

constructive criticism, man! i'll just leave this here:
Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one. In collaborative work, this kind of criticism is often a valuable tool in raising and maintaining performance standards.

making people feel welcome and involved is what is going to grow the community, improve the community, and maintain the existing community.

Its the internet bro, you cant read peoples true feelings when they type something. We also know what the stickers do and OP definitely is NOT sponsored by any of those companies. Thats what make this car so rice. No obvious mods except visual to make the car "look" fast and not actually be fast. We arent trying to kill dreams but bring people back to reality.

I remember your first post, and You obviously cant take constructive criticism because when you did post u your picture on this site, your asking to be judged or your showcasing your car to us, just as OP did here.

If you dont care for other peoples opinions, dont post. Ive only gotten very good comments about my car and thats because I take care of it and its not riced out. OP's car looks like it got shipped from the fast and the furious movie set.

Calm the **** down or

first of all me liking the stickers does not equate to me saying that they should stay on the car. it just means i respect nismo and from what i've seen mishimoto has good quality parts. i'm a graphic designer so i'm speaking from an artist's point of view as well.

i don't know why you think i can't take criticism. i didn't lash out or tuck tail and run. this isn't my first car forum, and in fact i've been on many. i could have been dropping F bombs, PMing people, etc.

anyway i respect you for explaining your point of view, and i think it's great that you take good care of your car because that's very important. ultimately i'm trying to raise the bar, promote better camaraderie, and conduct myself according to my morals and ethics standards. we are in the "New Owners" forum, and that generally will have newer people posting on it.

Excellent question. With a little time, love and care you can have yourself a decent car there. But i'd rebuild the car to decent status before going looney and jumping on the twin turbo. But then again, people may not laugh for long if you start whooping *** on the drag strip.

if you got rid of all of the stickers, and I mean all of them, and got some tasteful fitting wheels and a decent front bumper it could look OK. the hood is super busy, if you removed the stickers it wouldn't look too out of place.

don't use the term hellaflush - get away from the trendy bs. it's good to get wheels with the right offset, and it's good to be lowered (to a point), but don't be one of those clowns with stretched tires and too much camber. make your car functional and clean and people will drool over it. make it herrafrush and you might impress high schoolers.
Couldn't agree more.

LOL @ putting a TT kit on a car with over 100k miles on it.

OP - I say clean it up, remove the stickers, get nice wheels with tires that fit and enjoy it for as long as it lasts you. If you want to go FI, at least find something low mileage.
