Default Finally got a 350z

Hey guys, After all these years of wanting one I finally bought my 350z last week. Am 21 years old and listened to my dads wishes to not buy one before. Had my account on here for a long time. Now that I make a lil more money and am senior at Fiu why not. Am located in Fl. I had originally wanted to buy a 2008 nogaro but during the deal someone sold the card from under my sales man . It was located in New Jersey. My friend had sent me a picture of this 2007 Z before, but I had said definitely not since its not nogaro. But after my red was sold I got mad and went to take a look at the blue and fell in love . My dad tried to get me to buy a 2010+ camaro but hell no. Here is my hr 2007 with 41,000 miles. Got her for 21,900 with 8,700 down, seems alittle high but oh well I love it . My first manual transmission car, coming from a 2005 honda civic lx auto. Still learning all tips welcome. No accidents or traffic violations since I started driving at 17.

here is my current mod list. Let me know what you guys think. This is not a final list am open to ideas. Unfortunately no turbo guys. will probably do that to my next Z

Corbeau seats lg1
Nismo v2 body kit. minus the rear
charge speed rear w/cf diffuser
ppe long tube headers
motordyne tdx2+ art pipes
cf hr style seibon ts hood
Pioneer z130bt
Varrstoen 19 inch es2 wheels
viper alarm 7902
gears
injen cai
Simple weight reduction

Daytona Blue is my favorite color on the Z. I wanted one but settled for black since it was a close 2nd. Nice ride!

yea man it really does. But in Florida red and blue hr are almost never seen. ONly seen one red hr in 5 years and it was auto. Never seen a blue hr. I would say 19k would have been a decent price considering its a dealership but based on my age and no previous financing they said high risk or some bs. I really do not like how the nismo looks...the rear and the front is a turn off. the 370 nismo is gorgeous tho.

hopefully yours is at least a touring model or something other than base? i paid $16k for my 08 Base model w/ 39k miles so even $19k would be steep. Then again i highly doubt I'll buy a car from a dealer lol

lol I didnt want to get it from a dealer but to get it from a private seller I would have to get a bank loan and they denied me. Based on my age and the fact that i never had a loan before. Credit score and bank account had a decent amount of funds but still they said no lol. So I had no choice but to go to a dealer. Plus they dealer wasn't stupid he knew that we pretty much only have black and silver in fl and I would have to ship from anther state of fly there. Just looked at your car man it looks real nice. Any advice on first mods, I have a list but dont know where to start lol

Nice car, what trim is it?

(steering wheel controls?)

I own a 07 san marino blue (dark blue) and I think I like your color a lot better!

anyway the car is a monster, enjoy her and honestly isn't not like you got completely had on the price... HR's still cost a decent coin... (at least in FL)

Just had a friend purchase an 08 nismo with 30k miles for 28.5

Thanks man. The blue pearl is nice too. And yea for some reason hr holds its price in fl. Saw a few hr for 17k but silver from private owners. Nope no steering wheel controls. But honestly I dont care for cruise control and all that extra stuff. I will install a pioneer double din touch screen bluetooth nd navi soon so it doesnt matter

Congratulations on your purchase, it makes good reading to actually see someone research the market and get to know what flies in the area that they live, also to research in detail the car you've just purchased. I also prefer the Daytona Blue to the San Marino Blue which looks a bit dull when sat next to the Daytona Blue. OK so you have no turbo at present but hey, enjoy the torque that your Civic didn't have.

Thanks man. I been reading up info on here about these cars for a long time so I know a quite bit about them. Yeah no turbo plans but the next Z that nissan comes out with I will probably be able to afford it new and turbo it. Definitely enjoying my car been to 2 csr meets already and possibly track next week for the first time.
