Default New 350z owner.

Just picked up a Z with a ton of stuff done to it. its an 03 with 15000 original k.

Upper plenums been done, JWT pop charger, Megan racing everything! sways, coil overs upper control arms in the front and camber arms at the back, bushings, coil overs and complete exhaust including the headers. Rear fenders are cut so no rubby rubby over bumps.

I'm pretty sure the clutch and flywheel have been done too just based on how fast this thing rev's up compaired to the g35 I just sold with similar mod's.

I have a question by the way..... I'm running 370z brakes (Akenbono calipers) with Varrstoen S222 19x9.5 front (+12) and 19x10.5 rear (+12) and it just clears the front calipers (cant get a finger between them....just the tip

I want to go 19x10.5 fronts and 19x11 rears.....does anyhow have this set up and do the fronts rub the caliper? I don't think it will.....I think it will be very very veryyyy close. but if someone does have this..... please let me know.

Just for the record...luv the Z'ds (I've owned a bunch of cars over the years even 1 with 615whp and this is much more fun)

I'm from the Toronto area.... so if anyone knows who made this car, please let me know....I'd like to thank them. I'm not even kidding. I tried to get a hold of the last owner but so far no luck.

Third time lucky eh? Wow, this looks really tidy with no furring of aluminium in the engine bay, looks like you've bought yourself a trick low mileage bit of kit. I can see why you wanted to thank whoever put the parts on it.

Thanks!

I actually did the timing cover and the center caps (which I need to straighten after looking at that pic) lol and I have some r40 neo chrome lug nuts coming....those are the only thing's I can take credit for so far. The aluminum looked aged from sitting over the years......up close its not 100 percent...but I'm working on it over the winter for sure. If you have any recommendations, I'm all ears.

It's hard to tell from looking at the photo but it doesn't look like it needs anything other than mops & polish so unless you have polishing mops of various sizes to get into all of the nooks and crannies along with good polishing media then I reckon you'll be using Solvol Autosol or Meguiars Metal polish and elbow grease. I suppose a lot depends on how far you want to take it regarding finish.

Cool thanks.... and yea im not gonn ago too crazy with it.... just wanna keep it "clean"

Popped the R40 Neo chrome lug nut's on. Look's pretty good. Sorta matches the burnt Megan racing tail pipes.... next it'll b the neo chrome wire harness cover and then 19x11 rear and 19x10 fronts in the Varrsteon s2 wheels. I'll post pic's as I go. If anyone wants to show off there set up....please do... Specially if you have 370 Akenbono cal's.

Looking forward to see how she progresses. I reckon 'going clean' is your best bet because if you try to improve on the finish to the point of going for a mirror finish you'll be digging a big hole for yourself regarding the general maintenance of keeping it in that condition. Its not so bad if you go that way with the plenum as its easily accessible.

I do like the new style headlights very much, even the LED tail lights look nice on the newer Z'ds.....but I kinda wanna keep it an O.G 2003 for now. its only got 15 thousand klm's on it so its gonna stay stock for a bit. Gotta pic so I can see the difference by any chance??

the depo lights would look great. and only $319 shipped. nice progress. however, not sure how i feel about the canibeat (stance/hellaflush) sticker in the engine bay.. lol. feel like it should be performance oriented decals in the engine bay.

?????^^^^^ At that height, I wouldn't say "staying stock" is anywhere on your radar. That cannibeat sticker looks terrible-very cheap looking as it seems it's a window sticker. I know you said you had something else, so that's all I'm going to say.

Do you know what brand of camber equipment you have? It's hard to guess since you have some Megan stuff... I'd try to find that out since some brands are known to fail catastrophically-especially when that low.

Other than that, the car looks clean. Not y cup of tea, but looks well taken care of.

Welcome to the site and Happy Modding!

lol I meant stock looking...as in a stock 2003 looking z body. Im just gonna wait till I see sand blasting....then swop them for the newer stuff.

I should have seen that coming. Won't happen again

The suspension is all Megan racing....including the coil overs.

Thanks radiocrash! and you to Terrasmak

That sticker is killing me to by the way.....I just need it to get a bit warmer out so I can swop the new one in.....its just been real cold where im at.

Peace

Nice car too terrasmak and radiocrash and and Bmurray350z and everyone else!! hey Bmurray is your car for sale?? I coulda sworn I saw one similar for sale someplace not long ago.

Peace
