Hey I just got an 04 350z roadster for a pretty good price in my opinion. I wanted to upgrade on tires but not sure what kind are good for performance / show. I want 18" so any advice on brand or the whole offset measurements?

 

Hey congratulations on the purchase of your ZR and welcome to the forum. You need to use the search facility as there is a ton of information about tires, wheels and offsets. As with everything there are varying opinions on the above so you need to research and make your own decision. Myself i run Hankook Ventus V12 ZR18's

 

First off, grats on the purchase! (where's the pics?)

Second, you will want to do a lot of research on wheel sizes/offsets and tires, as well as if you are going to lower the car or not. Do you want to run a square or staggered (same as OEM) setup? Do you want the wheels to be flush? At stock height or when lowered? If you're going to lower it, do you want to bring your alignment specs back to OEM? Do you care if you have to roll your rear fenders to avoid rubbing your tires?

After doing all of that research for a month or so, I found that I wanted a flush look, but not that hellapoke that most kiddies do. I went with:
19x9.5 +22 front, 19x10.5 +22 rear (Varrstoen es2)
245/35 front, 275/35 rear (Bridgestone Potenza S-04)
(To-do) lower all around by 1-1.5"
(To-do) SBC rear toe arms
(To-do) SBC front camber arms
(To-do) Roll rear fenders
(To-do) Bring everything back to alignment spec

Well I've been doing some research and the look that I want is flushed but not sure on exactly how to do that considering I'm new to all these offsets and tire measurements, and other things like camber arms and stuff lol
Sorry I'm a newbie at these type of things so just looking for advice from the community considering I don't have anyone to talk to about these type of things
I want to build my car so I t can be a show car but also have good performance. I know it's going to be pricey but that's why I have 3 jobs lol so any help would be really helpful and appreciated.

But the mods that I know it has are just a cold air intake and an exhaust system as well (not sure which kind)
