Hi Chaps, I am new to this forum and hoping for some advice to determine the correct specification for my JDM Fairlady Z.

Having recently acquired the imported vehicle, there are many things which I am trying to figure out.. for eg;

*Why there is no power to my Sat Nav?
*Why there appear to be front and rear fogs but no fog control?
*Why the corner sensors (button located under steering column) are inop.
*Why the reverse tilt action on wing-mirrors are not working?

I believe this car is the Japanese ST Model and research shows that these items do come as standard - However, now I am wondering if these are all gimmicks and just added to the car without being fully functional.

I have contacted Nissan UK and sent an email to Nissan Japan but not holding out much hope for a response. Does anyone out there know if these are standard items for the Fairlady Z ST model?

Have you tried asking on the 350Z-UK.com forum? There are only a handful of active members on here that drive JDM spec Zs so I feel most of the responses will be assumptions opposed to facts.

My sat nav for my jdm z33 is stuck on the nissan screen with the sentence "insert navigation CD". Does your one not have anything on at all?
Your wing-mirrors should tilt automatically when you go into reverse so it could be one of 2 things: 1) Your Z did not come with this option, 2) your wing-mirror motors etc is malfunctioning

I have this saved on my computer, don't know if it's helpful (or completely verified for that matter) or not

Version T---- leather seats, seven speaker bose

Version S-- 18" rims Brembo's and VDc(instead of TCS ? )but no leather

Version ST--leather +Version S spec

Features:

You'll be lucky if you even get a response from Nissan UK, a lot of their dealers won't even service imports. They'd much rather you bought the official UK models. Have you checked fuses? What year is it? Did you buy it from an Importer or private?
