Default New owner and 350z

I just got a 05 not big plans for now other than wheels and lower it. I think i was lucky cuz i got it but didn't realize it came with some goodies until i had it
It came with
V2 front bumper (rep but looks good) and nismo S-tune exhaust which seems to be legit according to treads and some research and hr hood
And so far i have changed the wheels cuz it came with 17s and i got the 18s and dipped white for the winter and latter im gonna get them powder coated.
Well thats it for now
This is my new toy

A used S Tune if legit could be $500-1200 (from what I remember) used on here. I don't recall seeing too many of them. My buddy had it on his Z and it does sound good. I prefer the almost "exotic" VQ sound of my modded GReddy Evo 2.

youtube rxkid09 and see if you can help me describe it!

Welcome.

Looks like an S-tune.

Love the sound of mine every time i get on the pedal.

Exotic sound, not too quiet, not obnoxiously loud.

Just went out to the garage and double checked my exhaust and yours (at least the rear part that you show in the photos) is definitely legit Nismo S-Tune.

They are impossible to find new now, and the used ones sell for a premium.

Don't sell it, you WILL miss it.

Congrats on the purchase of the best color 350Z there is and topped off with the white 18"'s it looks peachy. Looks like you've landed on your feet with this as it has a couple of trick parts, the Nismo exhaust being one of them. The fun starts here.

I love this color and i spent like 3 months looking for a db 350z with 6speed but no luck so i jumped on this auto which is my daily and i think it wasn't a bad idea due to the traffic and about the wheels i was gonna go gunmetal or gold but last minute diecieded to go white and turned out a good choise

headers are an extreme waste of money and are an insane b**** to install. the general consensus is that they are pointless. hi flow cats are a good option if you have to do emissions otherwise you could just go with test pipes. none the less I really liked my hi flows because it made the exhaust just a tad louder, cut off a lot of weight, and still kept me in standard for emissions.

Agreed. I would look into ART pipes from motordyne. That's on my To Mod List.

no? I think you might be referring to fixing the check engine light problem, which is only with test pipes.

Cool so i might just go hfc and upgrade my Y-pipe
But first gotta fix my throttle which just started to act funny cuz when im crusing at low rpms and take my foot off the gas the rpms bounce between 1k - 2k

if you actual engine is revving between one and 2k that's an issue. however if you engine is acting fine and the tach is just bouncing, ive been told that is a relatively common problem. it shouldn't effect anything.

Induction service is not a standardized procedure and can mean a whole bunch of things. However, if they left a vacuum line loose or were a little too rough with the throttle actuator when cleaning the throttle body, it can cause this condition and problem code. Use this site’s search function or google for throttle release and the idle air relearn procedures. Also check for any vacuum leaks as they may have pulled a line off to inject something like sea-foam cleaner and cracked the line or not replaced it properly.

I did it on my own and didn't removed any lines and i already try the iacv relearn procedure but seems like im not doing it right so i think it'll be easier to try with a consult II
