Default Wide open throttle restriction 350z, uprev/osiris

I recently purchased my 05' non-revup 350Z almost 6 months ago and just got it tuned by a respectable tuner here in Az yesterday. I have been reading some things on nissan putting WoT restrictions in their cars/trucks and I had the option to disable it but my tuner insisted that it was not worth the potential damage since it only restricts it by 7%?
Is this the case? Anyone have experience with Osiris to see/feel a difference with WoT removed, other than wheel spin, on the 1/4 or 0-60? Any real downsides to having WoT restriction gone in one of the maps? I would appreciate any insight!

Who tuned it? Pm me if you don't want to say. I doubt you'll lose anything from it. Compared to driving my untuned 08 to my buddies tuned 08, I could barely tell any difference. If you search, people found it to be a safety feature.

Evan smith with EStuned here in Tucson, did a great job with the tune, but I was reading mixed things on the WoT and they all seemed to being applying to the nissan titan's. Could not find much about it in regards to the 350z.
