Thanks to dSpaceman and Blue Hvn among the others for the support! I figured its been about 10 months so I should drop a line about what I'm up to and how the car is.

So about a month after making this post I got side-swiped by a woman who was making a wide left hand turn (over four lanes). Wasn't a big deal, no mechanical damage and her insurance paid me out. Because my dad owns a custom auto body and refinishing shop and I've been working with him for a long time, I was actually able to make some money off it and use the opportunity to refresh the car.

I took some time to replace the bent fender and door skin, and then proceeded to replace the headlights and front bumper with new OEM style pieces, and replaced the hood with the 07+ hood OEM from Nissan. They actually bend the corner on the hood during shipping, and gave me a second one for free (which I have for sale for anyone interested). I fixed the first one and put it on the car, then proceeded to completely repaint the car the OEM Daytona blue. Lastly, I put a new Exedy stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel into the car to prep for summer, and put the OEM rims back on, after painting them a BMW matte gunmetal. Just as well, I've been working relentlessly and just finished paying the car off. At the end of the day, the car ended up costing me around 8k, 10k including clutch, flywheel and new hood.

I also got tied up with a fun little 1985 Honda CRX, and then moved on to a '92 240sx I have now. As well I bought a 2001 Lexus IS300 to beat around this winter.
