Default 2005 350z FIRST manual car

Whats up Z community,
I just got my 05 350z anniversary edition about a week ago, this is my first manual car and I am pretty damn rough at it lol just wanted to introduce myself and maybe get some tips/tricks on what to do with my 350. All ive done to her so far was dip the wheels, all stock. Any tips would be great, hope to become an active member on here and learn everything I can about 350's.

That doesn't look like a 35th Anniversary edition to me. The color is wrong and there are no Brembo brakes. I hope you didn't pay 35th Anniversary prices.

No anniversary wheels either. I do like the color though.

No idea, only saying that because when I bought the car they gave me the carfax and it said 35th anniversary edition lol but it really does have a very base model look, not too worried about it though got a good deal on it from my work but brembo brakes would have been a nice touch lol

You guys are correct, it is NOT an anniversary edition I got confused because in the vin look up description it says 2005 Nissan 350z 35th anniversary edition/ Touring/ Track/ Base...then on the one page it says Model: 350z Base...it is what it is, I still love the car. Whats the anniversary edition have though? More HP or just accessories package?

The 05 Anniversary was a higher from, different wheels, and includes the Rev Up engine which contains a little more HP. But it's notorious for oil consumption so it's probably best you did not get an anniversary edition.

Grats OP and welcome. My first manual was my Z too, and it was also daytona haha.

As far as mods go, find out what you want first and set a budget. Common first mods are wheels or exhaust/intake.

My buddy is trading in his Z for a truck soon because he beat on his and messed up the lifters and drive shaft but hes giving me his XXR 527 wheels w/ tires, BC Coilovers, NRG Anodized look quick release steering wheel, AEM short ram intake and plenum spacer for 1k all together lol

congrats on the car. so only the 35th anniversary edition 350z came with rev up engines in 2005? that's weird considering the 2005 g35s all came with the rev up engine. the 6mt anyways.
