Default 2005 350z New Owner

Just wanted to poke my head in and say "Hey". As the title says I just picked up a 2005 350Z. Its my first Z but I have always wanted one. I believe its an Enthusiast but could be wrong about that LOL. I bought it as a wreck (hit in the front end) so right now its apart and I'm waiting on a few parts and should be putting it back together in the next week or 2. Im sure i will have questions about the car in general but I'm excited to drive it. It will be a "secondary" car for me and ill only drive it a few days a week more than likely.

Chad.

Welcome, are you doing the work? If so, post some before / after pics?

Yup I'm doing all the work myself. I have a family body shop that I worked in for 15 years (i have since changed career paths and I am in IT now) so on the side and free time I still go in the shop and work on some stuff. This one is for me though. Its not to bad. Had a little frame damage but I already straightened it out. Waiting on the radiator and AC core to show up then I can put it back together. I already got the back end done and I have only put about 8 hrs in it so far. I figure i can put it back together in another 4 or 5 hours and there is a little bit of body work on the hood that needs sorted out. Its probably 2-3 days of work total to get it back to where it needs to be. Here are some pictures of it when i got it (from the auction house website). I will take some when I work on it again to show it stripped down and then when its done also.

Here is how the Z sat when started working again on it Friday night. This was as far down as it would be taken and its all back together now. I only lack a fender liner and the front under car shield that goes from the core support to the bumper. Those should show up in the next day or 2. I dont know if I will have any time to work on it durring the week but if all else fails then Friday night I will get it buttoned up.
