New owner, need advice to modify
Hey guys I'm a new owner of a 05 z auto, I was wondering what mods should I focus on first. I'm thinking of more aesthetics first and performance later, thanks.
What you choose to modify is totally up to you. If you aren't that performance oriented, then focus on aesthetics. My only piece of advise when it comes to any aesthetic parts, you pay for what you get.
I got the same 05 350z auto. the only mods that I"ve probably do on my car is upgrade to coilover suspension and that will cost me around a thousand bucks. If you planning to sell your Z in the future then, leave it on stock and make it as original as it was.

Troodat.
While I don't really care if anyone listens or not, I'll recount that epiphanous event one more time for people...
"17 year old Mic pulls up to a stoplight before a set of curves around SF's Lake Merced. I'm in my built Chevy all "badazz n' shid". Next to me is a 240Z, bone stock, resplendent in bright orange. Green light, I take off pretty hard. Next thing I know, the Z walks right past me at the first curve and was gone and out of the curves before I hit the second of 5 curves. That was a defining moment. Sold the Chevy, bought a 240Z. Went to driving school. Never looked back. That's all she wrote."
That mind picture of the sand kicked in my face that day was and will always be my guide.

Hey, what did you mean by hardware over software? I'm new to the community, did you mean a tune or something? Thanks! Also, I'm a new Z owner and I'd be interested in hearing what you would suggest.

But Trav is right... I kinda don't bother anymore. I've not seen ONE thread on anyone attending driver's school in the 3-4 years I've been here. (But for the track and AX guys, you're excused.)
