Hey all,

I bought a Yellow 2005 35th Anniversary Z last week. The main role for this car will be HPDE events and amateur autoX.
It's all stock at the moment. Has just under 73,000 miles paid 9k for it.

I do not want to turn it into a TRACK car, it will just be a fun HPDE ride. The wife didn't want me to take my 80k 2017 Grand Sport Vette on the track. Since I seen a guy eat guard rails in his Z06 last year.

I already order a harness bar. Got it black though since the car is yellow.



The black belts I ordered are on back order, so I might go with silver. I need to start searching to see how to install the lap belts.

Anything I should be looking at on the car before taking it to the track on June 11th?

Gonna replace the brake fluid this week.

 

Brake fluid is really the only requirement. As long as everything else is in good shape you should be good
