Default Got a new Z

So I just bought this new 350z and it reads cam shaft positioning sensor circuit malfunction. I understand It’s most likely the flywheel alignment. However I’ve encountered something else and I’m not sure what is the cause of it. I turn the car on and too much smoke comes out the exhaust, even after it warms up and all of that. In addition to this it smells like gas or burning oil. Has any of you encountered a problem like this? How did you solve it?

camshaft sensor is prob shot...you didnt mention year or mileage, but my guess is balla on a budget so high miles for 5k... if it is smoking you need to find the root of it. Take it to mechanic for a diagnoses

The camshaft sensors measure camshaft rotation and orientation. The crankshaft sensor measures crankshaft rotation and orientation.. I would take care of your cam sensor issue first before trying to troubleshoot this ghost.
