I’m buying a new 350z 04, and it’s automatic, is there anything I should know before ?

Yes. Something very important. It's 14 years old. It's not new.

It will be a little slower off a line due to the lower final drive gearing, drive it in manual mode also to see the difference. Most of all, pay for an independent mechanical inspection .
