I am on the verge of buying a Z, probably a 2003 base, anyone want to object this? Is the 2003 a good year? and i have some other questions... are there alot of problems with these cars? cause i dont know anyone with a Z so my only guidance would be from you guys. Im also wondering why some of the Z's have a plastic grill in the bumper, and other ones have silver mesh..
Does anyone know the weaknesses of a Z (weak clutch, bad suspension, etc.) ?

I assume you are purchasing used.

1. Yes just ask if the tires have been replaced, if not check for tire feathering and do it.
2. No not many problems, besides the dealer has to fix them because it is covered under warranty.
3. You can purchase the grills aftermarket. Do you really want your car to look like an electric shaver though?
4. No weaknesses for daily driving.

 

Get at least the Enthusiast; lots of extra goodies over Base for not much money.

If used have a mechanic check it out.
