OH MAN! everyone who says the nismo Z doenst look good really does need to see it in person! everytime i looked at a pic of the Z i thought i wouldnt like it in person, cuz i dont really liek the 07 Zs still...dont think that hood will ever grow on me. but damn NISMO Z

 

I agree. When I saw it in person I didnt even care about all those nasty thoughts about the back bumper. I loved it unconditionally.

I loved it anyway, from the initial pictures, but had been waiting for a while to see it "in person" to make sure I still loved it.

I walked into the dealership to test drive it (my 2004 Z was up for it's lease at the end of the week) prior to making a decision on that - a regular 2007 or the Mitsubishi Evo (I know... blasphemy).

As soon as I walked in - I looked at my wife, and she shook her head and walked over to talk to the dealer guy.. she knew already..

The one on the showroom floor was Black, #0012 and we test drove a white one as it was easier.

We both got back, the dealer went off to get some numbers, and my wife turned to me and said the following:

"You are going to hate me forever if you don't get to drive the Black one home tonight, aren't you?"

I unashamedly said "Yes"... and it was mine from that moment

I drove it away that night (Aug 1) and while I did miss the Red one a little, it soon passed
