Default FREE ECU reflashes for any Nismo Edition Z...

Hey guys.

does anyone want to make their Nismo Edition 350z even better?

Technosquare is offering two free reflashes to anyone that would let them download and modify their stock ECU for beta testing purposes. (The ECU is needed to be removed from the car, sent to japan, and will be returned to you as fast as possible. Customs and air freight is typically less than two weeks turn around time)

The two reflashes mean you get 1 reflash for your stock configuration, and whenever you decide to change or add modifications, the subsequent reflash will be free of charge as well.

Changes to the ECU will include:

Increased Rev limiter,
Delete Speed limiter,
AFR changes
Ingition timing changes
Throttle body changes
+ others

if you're interested please let me know. thanks!

^^

well. we're tryin to see if they tuned it slightly different than the normal 07s.

thats why we'd like to have a nismo Z ecu to double check.

for those that have the NismoZ as a daily Driver... i got coupons on weekly rentals for Avis and Hertz... if u think about it. cost of car rental is really small compared to the price of two reflashes. plus you're helping out the community .. for more modification choices.

then you could always be the first one on the block saying "yup i have a NismoZ that's reflashed" and be the first one in the USA to say that!

I'm trying to understand how the person is getting TWO "free" reflashes, if one of those reflashes is to take the ECU back to stock?

You will Receive Two Free Reflashes.

1st Reflash: Will be a tuned to your current setup in the car which ever it may be. Since this car is relatively new, it most likely be stock with no modification, this reflash will then give you new Rev limit, delete speed limiter, increase throttle response, and adv timing and change AFR + more.

2nd reflash: will be tuned for whatever modifications you end up putting on your car. This reflash can be whatever choose to get the ECU tuned to..

hope this clarifies everything.

They aren't- The only MT '07 ECU that is different is the base model- Any non-base MT '07 would do.

Sorry, for the lack of delay, its hard keeping tabs on all my ECU threads.

ok.

Nissan will not know you have been reflashed unless you tell them, or unless they hook up the Consult II to the car and do an active download. Even reading the Check engine light will not yeild any information. they have to actively look for changed parameters such as timing, etc. and even then its hard to notice.

Two week turn around time is exactly that. It takes around two weeks to get the ecu back to your hands.

If you want something "Special" for the Nismo Z, i can have that arranged so that only the Nismo Tuned Zs get a Special Edition Tuning, as to differentiate it from the normal 07 reflashes. its these little things that we could always end up doing if the Nismo Z crowd wants it--

if you have a beater car, why not help out the community?

Well like Dave said, the 07 ECU and the Nismo one are no different.

Well, the only way we can confirm the SOFTWARE is the same is to get the hardware in. They might have the same partnumbers, but you never know.

there's alot of weird things Nissan does to their ECUs.
