And Nismo owners, like my mother, can sometimes be computer illeterate. She doesn't know how to operate her DVR and continues to pay for the darn thing. We did have three Nismo's parked together at Graylyn that MC put those pictures up of.

I don't think meets like this are a bad idea, but posting about it a public forum will naturally create some tension. It's not that people are so anxious to go, just that they are uninvited irks them a bit. I've seen it many times when people try to create M3 only meets. On the forums people get upset, but in person, they won't say a thing to you.

If I had a nismo Z, I think it would be cool to have a photoshoot and drive with just Nismo Zs, but this should be kept or advertised in a private matter.

Wasn't gonna say anything until this post. The Nismo Z is not anything special. Overpriced car with mark up. The looks are not good enough to pay that money. Another reason most won't buy it is because no one wants to mod a collector's car. Pointless in my opinion to drive around a stock Nismo Z. Would rather keep my Z and make it look the way I want. Funny story is when I drove the one at my local dealer and the guy tried to sell me on it I told him it is not worth the $40,000 grand they wanted and mine looked better. He looked over at my car in the lot and agreed. Not hating on the Nismo Z's I just think that they f'd up when making this car. No extra HP, only diff really is body dampers and ugly front end. It should have been a car that stood apart from the regular Z's. Cloth seats and no nav. I understand it is supposed to be a track car. But honestly most won't ever see a track. Just my 2 cents.

I am not hating on non-Nismo 350s. I clearly stated earlier that I thought it was a better idea to have a regular meet. Having a meet with 2-4 cars doesn't make much sense to me.

LOL you're right 2-4 cars sounds boring. Maybe in a few years when they are all sold it would be cool to have a Nismo Z meet. A collectors meet so to speak. It does seem pointless for 2-4 cars.

Everybody is welcome to their own opinion on the Nismo. I know the body is quite agressive and not for everybody. It's a shame it didn't come with more power. For me, this car was a huge improvement over my 2003 Track model with mods though, and I was blown away at how much better the handling felt. With that in mind, I felt that it was well worth the price.

I think if you are the type of person to use this car for what is meant to do it is a cool car. But to just drive it around and keep it stock seems pointless, collectors car or not. I love the rear end and spoiler on the car but the front end is lacking. Maybe it is the reflectors or something. I don't think it is too extreme so to speak just the front to me looks unfinished. The wheels definitely need to be changed and it would need aftermarket seats. It is a sweet car but I can't justify the cost difference. At least you like it and have a nice Z
