No, sir. Still backordered. NISSAN is taking FOREVER! Just be patient, we will have them shipped out as fast as humanly possible as soon as it arrives.

??????

The NISMO Z does not have the S-TUNE suspension that you can just go and buy. Different Part numbers. If it did, it wouldn't handle better than the S-Tune.

Hmm, I just checked the part numbers and they do not match. I could've sworn they are exactly the same because when I took a look at the suspension, it looked identical to the S-Tune and the drop is the same as well. I even drove the car and I've driven plenty of Z's with the NISMO suspension and it felt the same as well. It just doesn't make any sense why NISSAN would design and manufacture a "NISMO" suspension system for this car when they already one out on the market. Doesn't seem cost-effective. It's also possible that the service part numbers are now superceded to the new part number that is in FAST. Who knows.

From the cars I've seen, the Nismo S-tune is lower than the Nismo Z.

Andy, do you know what the spring rates are for the Nismo Z?

Well, we'll finally see what a lowered NISMO is like next week when my Zero-2's arrive.

I think the Nismo suspension is the best "compromise" suspension available for 350z. By that I mean that it's not the end-all-be-all setup for the car, but rather the best spring/strut suspension that could be developed while satisifying MOST drivers on MOST road conditions and still be carry a reasonable warranty for the consumer. If it were the best posible fit for the car, MCR wouldn't be running coilovers.

I did a lot of research before deciding that Cusco's were probably going to be the best fit for me, my driving, and my roads. I'll be ready for the flaming when I start a thread next week with pics after the install, but someone has to be the ginnea pig.

Nice pacfwu! It's about TIME someone did this. If I owned a Nismo first thing I would do is to drop it(besides switching out clutch/flywheel haha)

Very nice! Don't worry, the CUSCO's are a GREAT unit and you will be happy with them. It is definitely an upgrade with the suspension that the car came equipped with. Now you just need to get some aggressive wheels and DUMP it and it should look SICK!

That's about the ride height I'm lookin for. Just enough to fill the wheel-wells.

Anyone just switching out the springs? A good set of linear springs shouldn't upset anything.

I know what you mean. I wish mine was lower too but I am worried about compromising the ride and handling of the car.

Theres nothing to compromise if you upgrade the suspension.

Sure there is. It won't be tuned like it was to handle the way it does anymore.

Exactly. It is a pretty good handler as is.

It's not really a compromise if you're improving the suspension to IMPROVE the handling. Your statement completely negates what the Japanese tuners are doing with the NISMO Z just like MCR, Powerhouse Amuse, etc.
