Does anyone know if the first exposed metal part after the plastic is a safe place to jack the car in the front center (circled in red)? Where do you guys place jackstands? Anyone take off their front bumper yet? Any issues I should know about before I do it?

Found the answer after a little search. That's the place. If anyone cares, the bumper comes off pretty easy, just lots of bolts. Nothing too hard to get to or difficult to remove. It seems like everything I've messed with so far is pretty straight forward. All the rear panels on the inside just pop off.

I wanted to jack the car up first, so that it would be easier to take off the front bumper. I drove it up onto some ramps, then used my hydraulic jack at the center jacking point, then used the jackstands.
