haha, Thats cool, and almost not haha jk, cause i'm no longer the only NISMO owner in SD, and a NISMO PPW one too. Do you plan on attending any of the SD meets, or anyof the meets for that matter. I work out in Riverside on the weekdays, but on the weekends and on Wed i'm in SD, my point is that to this date i havn't seen another NISMO beside mine and the showroom car in person. So let me know if your ever down to talk about cars or what have you. Peace man, i'll be looking for you on the freeways, i'm always on the 15, rarely on the 5.

On that note any suggestions on coilovers? I was leaning towards the Bilstein PSS9's.
[QUOTE=cuda510]Yeah, the first week I had my car I met up with some guys from the forum up off Mira Mesa at a Fudruckers, Steve from Pacific Nissan gave me heads up. But unfortunately I will be out to sea for the next 4 months. But definately when I get back.
Well then best of luck those next 4 months, come back home safe homie the "Z nation" will be here when you get back.

Thank you, I am excited to be here. And believe me coilovers is high on the list, along with NISMO intake, Injen SES track edition exhaust, test pipes, and NISMO headers, oh boy I can hardly wait!!

I would fully expect the PSS9s to have better shocks than a stock Nismo, but overall, I don't think "handling" would improve much.
Oh and be safe overseas.

What's your budget? If you want a more track oriented setup, there are other options. For a streetable coilover, the PSS9s are a good choice. For a more track oriented setup, I'd consider Ohlins, Truechoice or Zeals.
Ohlins: http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...ng&prodid=2155
Zeal:

Truechoice/Unitech:

Not sure if they're made anymore, but they were manufactured by Koni and were run by a few track teams
Also look into 350evo swaybars.
As far as not improving things, well I could very well be wrong. Properly setup PSS9s, corner balanced and everything else would be great, but it's just that the stock Nismo setup is pretty good to begin with. From the vast reviews, the Nismo S-tune is a decent track setup, that is pretty much good enough until you move to R-compounds. Haven't brought the Nismo Z to the track, but I would think the suspension on Nismo Z would be better than the S-tune.

Thanks for the info, I was doing a little looking around, also came across the Tanabe Pro Sevens which are available in 10kg or 12kg all around claiming the 12kg are a track setup. Most cars use a spring rate setup that usually has a 2kg difference like the ZEALs you posted at 10kg/8kg. or even the OHLINS at 10kg/7kg. Which both claim a streetable setup. Which might be fine, I am just curious if anyone has feedback on the Tanabe pro Sevens?
Also, about the sway bars... why 350evo bars? I know the NISMO car came with thicker sway bars, and how do they compare to the nismo s-tune bars? adjustability?

Check the brakes and suspension forum. You should find some reviews on the Tanabes there. https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension-399/
I mentioned the 350evo bars as most of the race teams ran these bars. I'm not familiar with the sway bars on the Nismo Z, but I'd assume that they would be similar to the S-tune bars. If they are the same, they would not be adjustable. They should be fine though and probably not worth switching out.

Actually, I got the wheels from my cousin who sold his Z. So I had no choice in the tires, its what he had. I dont know if I am going to keep the wheels, thinking about going something different or just putting the stocks back on. I plan on running NASA up at Miller Sports Park in UT in June, so tires are on the list, I was thinking about the TOYO 888s or whatever there called. what do you guys recommend?
