Pastelin, Im loving that wing man. I was torn between getting the Nismo JDM V2 or a carbon fiber wing and ended up going the Nismo route, but man I've got to say your car is damn sexy.

I think you're car looks sick. I actually like it. I don't think you're a poser or whatever people would call/think about you. You did it for a purpose, and not just for looks. Just the way the NISMO is built for out of the box. So kudos for you man. Also, the huge wing looks flush with your set up.

Thumbs up

Thanks I just got my nismo Z side skirts and car is heading to bodyshop, I might change some stuff back to stock like trunk with my APR wing (will remove the nismo wing I have, plastic, wiper motor, etc and front fenders, after all I don't like the after market parts so I might sell them so any one that tracks their car ( or drifts) this might be a great deal also have CF OEM hood (not the one in pics) all parts might have to be painted to your desired color as well as the side skirts (all nismo) not nismo Z but have no clue for price and will be sold local as soon as I decide I will post under classified.

Along with Tarzan_0802, I met Mike Sage today, who is the vice-president of the family owned Sage Auto Group which owns west covina Nissan. He mentioned that you cannot buy the parts from a Nismo Z, front/rear bumper along with everything else unless you have a VIN code designated for a Nismo Z. Apparently Nissan does not want this style replicated so they made it more difficult to acquire parts. It's a bit ironic then, that these parts were sourced from one of his dealerships.

BTW, he had an older R-tune 350Z with the front and rear bumpers from a Nismo Z. I forget the actual details, but this R-tune was one of three that were built. It looked like a regular DE engine, but he mentioned that it was "crate" engine that produced ~322bhp on a car that weighs approximately 2900lbs. These three 350Zs together cost upwards of a million in themselves. Someone feel free to correct me on the details if I'm incorrect.

Oh and he also took the time to call one of his dealerships to find what cost is on a Nismo 350Z. This information is probably already posted, but it was $34,800 which is Invoice minus Holdback. He was a real cool guy and very down to earth. I was rather surprised when he mentioned who he was.

For some GTR news, he said Nissan promised him the first GTR in the U.S. #001 which would be given to his father. He also owns something like the #2 or #3 350Z.

Try the 07/08 on a roadster, that would look cool!

Haha, what up man, guess you beat me to it, becaus I was going to talk about this car.

at first sight, I almost couldn't believe that I saw a Nismo V3 kit on a non NIsmo. Only to my surprise to learn that this car was one of three race car prototypes that have been racing since 2006. Also good to know was that Mike Sage was a former racecar driver, and when he took this bad boy on the tracks he was beating the new corvetts and vipers!!

But agreed, the guy Mike Sage was a pretty down to earth guy, he not only owned west covina Nissan, but Universal Nissan along with one other.

Shout out to Sensi09, for being the only other Nismo on the road I have seen since buying mine other then the showroom.

#0001 was auctioned off at the ZCCA convention in Florida. Nissan gave it to Mad Mike originally.

Sad part is, that kit isn't even painted on the lower part. Wonder why they didn't paint that the gun metal color. Oh well.

I do restect the nismo guys and I only add the kit on because of the benefit.

They used a dull gray on the front and rear bumpers that really stood out. The original gunmetal or even black would have looked better.

It was mentioned in this thread that they may not have a color code for this trim as of yet. https://my350z.com/forum/nismo-350z/329250-touch-up-paint-for-the-nismo-body-kit.html

although the kit is very similar, it does not appeal to me as the real nismos do.

I think it has to do with it not being a nismo, if u get what im trying to say

Have you guys seen this thread. https://my350z.com/forum/body-exterior/326556-nismo-z-front-bumper-special.html

Genuine Nismo Z front bumper for $460. I wonder why the Nismo version 2 costs almost twice the price?

Sensi, that doesn't include all the mounting hardware for it as well. You still need to buy all the extra stuff to get it mounted.

Somehow I don't think the mounting hardware is going to cost $590!!!!!!
(which is what it would have to cost to come to the same price as the V2).
For whatever reason, that Nismo front bumper is just one helluva deal!!!!
