If you do the rear bumper, I think you should add the whole kit for the most part. The front bumper though, should go well with a lot of different sides skirts and rear bumpers/add-ons.

the white on your bumpers are horribly off of the original paint.

i got my nismo bumper painted this weekend and slpped that sucker on today! I have an 03 enthusiast. I'm waiting for the paint to completely cure before i stick on the nissan emblem. I'm also in need of some reflectors.

Nice looking bumper bro. One quick question, what other parts did you have a buy aside from the bumper in order to attach the bumper properly? I'm also thinking about going this route as well. thanks!!

it was a direct replacement from the OEM bumper, however i removed the fender brackets for a tighter fit and there is about an 8 inch gap underneath from the bumper to the original bottom diffuser. This is why the Nismo diffuser is required to "patch" the gap between the two. I guess i could make one though...

How much would you say everything up to this point on just this racecar is running you in terms of tires, fuel, and what ever else is needed to race

You are still missing parts that support the bumper. There is a black plastic under part that goes up and curves up to the front lip to make it thicker but also support and protect the actual painted portion of the front bumper.

Which I think is the part you are talking about.

i don't think not being able to afford it has anything to do with it. i could have easily paid an extra 5 grand and got one, honestly, i don't like the look of them. i know the aero is functional, but it just doesn't do anything for me. i can kind of see your point regarding people with older Zs slapping the kit on, but i don't think anyone would do it to be a "poser" or anything, they probably just like the looks of it.

personally the Z looks great as it is... too big of a spoiler/sideskirts that stick out too much/a lip or front bumper that attracts too much attention take away from the clean lines that the car already has. I personally think the nismo spoiler looks the best on our cars. the nismo sideskirts are alsoa good touch to the car as well.

And no i don't think its "poser" to put nismo parts on your car. Its poser if you have knock off products but then again noone will notice. Unless the knockoff build quality is so cheap that it cracks (fiberglass).

OH and i am a firm believer that if your car is boosted you can do whatever you want to it.

I know this discusion is mainly about the Nismo kit, But what do you think about this?
http://www.bespokeventures.com/blog/...-kit-released/

It looks remarkably close to the kit but seems for the serious track car enthusiast with wight and aero dynamics in mind. It even sports louvers behind the steering tires for side exit exhaust!!
