got rid of my 06 with oc issue.. and go a black nismo yesterday :-)

I just tinted the windows and now the mod bug is asking me for something...
btw, any reflash available? like osiris or technosquare?

my was on lease and some mods... "priced" the mods and more or less the same amount. I went to the dealer to find a solution for the OC.. I rolled out with the nismo :-D

I'll go asap to take some pics, now she need a hand of klasse sealant glaze .. and btw, the stealership forgot to remove the spacers from the suspensions... (are they those huge rubber rings between the coils?) are they easy to remove?

Welcome. Another Houston member, we're beginning to be a dime a dozen around here. For a second I thought you might have bought the one next to my house, but your's is an '08. Where did you buy yours from? The spacers are easy to remove, just jack up the car and take them out. 6 total. Car drives much better without them. I kind of wanted to get ahold of the person that bought the one in Clear Lake, since I know the dealer left them in there, but I don't feel like telling the dealer. Those guys were asses. Where do you live?

That's one way to get rid of the OC problem

Since you leased the car, did you just roll your '06 car into a huge initial down payment for the lease and get almost a nonexistant monthly payment if you owned the rev up Z outright? Or, did you still owe on the Z, and they bought you out of that car and into the lease? I'm curious how much they gave you for your car in trade, and how much you had to shell out for the difference in the car? Grats either way!

B4 people ask what is the "oc" problem = Oil Consumption..

 

I hope not. They actually went down to 37K with me, but I got an '08 for a little less. The one in Clear Lake is sold though.

 

I got @ peacock on I45N while I was going there to talk about the oil consumption issue with somebody... I live in westside (westheimer - gessner)
the other was in lease, we put a value down, this one a little discount on the sticker... I keep my monthly payment, 0 down... so I really don't care too much.
