$284,000 for a Z?? NISMO says YES
never said it needed halogens..just guessing that thats what those headlights are, that they are not Zenon at all.. they didnt produce a halogen headlight with the current design as far as i know and I am unsure but I thought there was a restriction on them for the full race cars on track . I am not sure.. I could be very wrong. But it is the only thing that makes sense. I doubt Nissan was worried about keeping costs down.
well the interesting parts are:
1) Y pipe like the JIC Y pipe and the exhaust is really straight.
2) solid rear axle mountings instead of rubber/silicone (quite straightforward for a race car)
3) carbon fiber plenum plus carbon fiber venturi airboxes, no strut bar (I guess, and no front strut bar)
4) quite neat diff cooler + tranny cooler (i guess)
5) all the exhaust wrapped... maybe they have a flat underbody to put there?

the rear suspension arms look trick as all hell.. how awesome would it be to replace the lower arm with a rod if you are running true coilovers? very sick, very lightweight.

The wannabe coilovers out there never took this into consideration

like my wannabe true rear coilovers :P lol,
I wonder how much that peice costs... or if I could get one made. it's basically a longer camber arm almost it seems. it also seems to have an adjustment for 'true' camber. yum.
maybe I can eventually afford the SPL rear midlink.. it's close... less weight, smaller and includes adjustment.
hehehe
could definitely be made, though the SPL piece is about as close as it gets
I've asked japan for about a million pieces off this car over the last year lol - they won't let anyone have a single one without plunking down the big check first

where do I get the canards and the hood? and does anybody have an idea on the wheel specs? Those are just your standard TE37 correct?
P.S. Brembo GTR's are amazing!

The 380RS-C´s front bumper is different from what I know. It looks like a V3-bumper without the 2 struts in the middle. The outer struts are less pronounced. Has it been completely new developed?
