Good job on the Z first off, but I have a question. Iv'e done several contest winning models and my last one a Tamiya SLR 722 won best paint. Iv'e noticed you always polish out your paint. I have polished out paint before but I find I have gotten excellent results using Tamiya base coat and wet sanding and then clear then wax. What do you feel is better and why? I'm doing an Enzo in gloss black currently.
zsport1,
My son just finished this model and we notice a gap where the front spoiler meets the body. Did you have that problem too? Thanks!

See the pic above of the front of the silver Z. You can see the gap on the ends.

The gap is on the ends of the front spoiler near the wheel arches, correct? Problem is if you try to narrow the gap on the ends then the spoiler will not sit right in the center on the front grill.

Good luck on your build.
On the towerhobbies website, should i buy the additional accessories needed for the car? I need bright red paint to match nagaro red, but do you recommend the cement, glue, knife and others? What can i use to clearcoat the car?
Not unless you expect it to hold together magically, you probably should go ahead and buy the glue, and knife, ect. From a professional point of view, try sticking with Tamiya brand paints, even the clear coat, Tamiya has really high quality paint.
