why is it lawyer time? you obviously abused it by taking it to a track and "running hot laps" so you got no leg to stand on. especially during the break in period recommended. Nissan can say you should have followed the guidelines provided. sucks this happened.

If I bought a Nismo Z with better suspension than any other Z I'd be on the track doing the same thing. Thats why we bought our "sports cars". The engine should hold up to what its built for.
8 hours of running 150 mph.... The motor isn't broken in 900 miles. I'd be careful what I say on a forum. Of course the car's brain has everything recorded anyway.

I would be on a track too but if a guy doesn't break it in properly, your asking for trouble. I also would know the consequences of driving that fast for that length of time.
Have you called Nissan of North America to see what they will do about the situation? That would be my first step.
