I see a dealership still holding onto a 2007 silver Nismo (31 mi on the ODO) collecting dust. Been there for over half a year. How much do you guys think I can get it for? The price they list now is 34.8K. Would 33.5K OTD (w/ 8.25% tax) be reasonable?

Anyone got access to the incentives for 2007 Zs in www.insidenissan.com ?

I bought mine in February for $33,940 with 2 miles on the odometer. I would think you could get it for ~$33,000 or perhaps lower. Choose a price and see what they say. A local dealership here in Missouri had 5 of them for $5000 off sticker a month or so ago. I am not sure if they still have any left. Good luck. Great car!

 

i didn't give them a price but in an email reply they said, 34.5K is the lowest he can go... i call that BS though.

Yup def go somewhere else. The used vehicles are showing up at 27k+,
and the market has slid at least 3-4% in the last 90 days. Their will be
continued price deflation over the short term. Time is on your side as
existing dealer inventory will still be present on lots at the end of the
year.

 

38,695 is MSRP and Invocie isn't that much lower, only a few K below that. So 33-34k is a steal.

 

I can see why a dealer might hold a 2007 NISMO. To attract other buyers. If a potential buyer walks out with a 350Z or a Sentra, then the purpose of the NISMO is served.

stealerships dont make prices you do remember that...they will always try to get you to buy the car BUT its your money spend how ever much you want...i dont have a nismo but i got mine from a stealership for 4000 out the door under what they were asking..make it seem like you dont care for the car and its nothing special lol 40% of the time it works everytime!

 

I opted for a 2007 Magnetic Black GT w/ Navi instead for a few K less, 31.6K OTD (~29K+tax?). They didn't take the 32K offer, and only gave 34.xK for the Nismo.

 

At 34K I go for the Nismo.

 

They want 33.8K for a leftover Nismo, #135 I believe, Magnetic Black and 105 hard test driven miles. Has spider web swirls everywhere and scratches under the door handle! lol!

Dealerships are going to relent. Give them time. You can't show up and
demand a vehicle at a specific price. MSRP IS A JOKE. REPEAT MSRP IS A
FIGMENT OF IMAGINATION. This number has no basis in reality. It is written
on a piece of paper, and we are made to assume it has some sort of relevance.
To the contrary it does not. In today's marketplace the buyer
has all of the leverage in the world. The car is in terribly low demand, and
every lot has at least one. Knock yourself out at 33-34k, as you must love
DEPRECIATION. Use your strength as the buyer and tell the dealership to
shove it.

 

i'd say you could get them down to about 34k

 

I bought my "new" nismo in april for 34k before tax and title. It was actually the first number the dealer through out, and it surprised me because that is the number I was looking for.

Looking back I could've definitely gone lower and so can you!

 

offer them 32500..that is what i paid for mine 2 months ago with 13 miles on it..it was on the showroom floor for like 10 months

The UK spec equivalent would cost me around $29 000
