How many Nismo Z owners want a custom Covercraft cover?
#42
I don't know for sure. I'll ask. It would have to be 20 of the same type covers. Right now I am leaning towards a Noah or Superweave myself. I want an indoor/outdoor combo cover. Below is a link to the different types CCC makes.

I believe the Noah is a good outdoor cover with the Superweave being one of the best. Cost difference with no discount is $229 Noah to $319 Superweave (gray).

I believe the Noah is heavier and has some padding (some ding protection) but also bulkier so it takes up more room when stored. Easier to put on in the wind too. The Superweave is lighter, less bulky but might be tougher to put on in the wind. Superweave gives slightly better dust & rain protection. I have had Noah covers in the past. We can decide once the pattern checks out.
I will discuss with Calif. Car Covers to confirm the cover differences.

James from CCC edited my take on the covers. Below is his edited version.
I believe the Noah is considered the best of the layered outdoor cover with the Superweave being the best. Cost difference with no discount is $229 Noah to $319 Superweave (gray) for a 08 Nissan 350z.

The Superweave is lighter, stronger ,easier to care for and clean, less bulky but might be tougher to put on in the wind. Superweave gives superior, unsurpassed dust & rain protection. I have had Noah covers in the past.

I need a cover that will be good for hail and for when I store my car for winter. Would the superweave be the best or stormweave (maybe)? I could care less about rain and more worried about damages. (No garage)
Regardless,
1. Jmark
2. Keptman - Noah or Superweave
3. Netitan
4. NismoRickZ
5. Tarzan_0802 - best outdoors
6. SOLO-350Z - Best Outdoor one (unsure)
7. Only350z - Best Outdoor Cover

^ The Stormweave gives the most ding protection of all the outdoor covers. The Covercraft chart below gives the benefits of each cover. Keep in mind the Calif. Car Cover Stormweave is = to Covercraft Evo. Noah = Covercraft Noah, and Superweave = to Covercraft Weathershield HP.

^ For your needs only350z I think you have made the best choice. I have received samples of the covers and Stormweave is the thickest but also the bulkiest. Noah is similar too but not quite as bulky. Superweave is much less bulky than the other two outdoor choices. I worry about ease of use in a windy area however.

Guys, sorry I have to back out. I just can't afford $300+ right now for a cover with other expenses that are more important at the moment.
