Will, It looks spot on! Great fit. I am going to send the pics to James & see what he says as far as the non stretch covers. Thanks for helping us all out.

Talking

Just got a reply from James with Calif. Car Covers. I forwarded him Will's pics and mentioned the concern for the non stretch outdoor cover materials. His response email titled "Great fit"

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the pictures. Let me explain about how we make a cover from customer supplied dims briefly.

We suggest to make your measurements as close as you can within an inch.
Our design program makes the size adjustments necessary for the material of choice.

When you make an attempt to “think for the computer” the pattern will be out of proportion or just too big or small depending on what you give us. We want your cover to fit so it will be easy to put on and take off without placing stress on the material and the seams. The material chosen on Wills’ cover stretches and if you choose Noah or Superweave the cover will be made somewhat larger because those materials do not stretch.
Hopefully this is enough info so you can make your decision.

Call me if you’re ready to order and please give my name and telephone or email to your fellow Nizmo owners if you want to order. That is the only way you can place your orders, OK?

Please let me know.

Thanks again.

JH

So the computer adjust Will's dimensions based on the material chosen!!!! You can see from the pics that Will's cover fits great! Example pricing for the Nismo Z made with the Noah material is $229.99 plus $13.99 S & H. Not bad for a custom made cover. He can recommend the type/material you need based on your requirements. If we can get 10 of the same type covers we can get a discount. We all need to thank Will again for stepping up, taking all the measurements & placing the first order! Here is James' contact info for those who are ready to order. James has been very helpful.

I live in Miami so the car cover i will most likely need is one for dirt, dust, bird crap, rain, and sun. Like I you said if we get 10 of the same we get a discount, I don't mind paying a bit more for a better cover if you guys decide on one. I just want to get this done ASAP before any hurricanes hit South Florida.

Feel free to email or call James and ask. In your case I agree the Stormweave would be the best material. I suspect the savings will only be $20 or so if we can get 10 or more. I know it will be tough to get a group together.

Guys I would love to get a GB going but I am not sure we can get 10 to agree on one type of cover etc. It is only going to save you around $20 so I am not sure it is worth the effort. I know of at least one guy from Zcar.com who has already ordered based on the contact info above. I have also been contacted by the owner of Nimso #0001 who is interested in a cover too. If you are ready to order I say contact James and discuss your particular cover needs and place your order. The pattern will computer adjusted based on your material picked. Now if 10 want to wait & come up with a similar order I am sure James will cut you a break.

No problem. Will did alot by taking the time to measure his car and order the first cover. What type of cover you planning on?

I will be parking my Z outside for the most part, so I would like to get the “best outdoor cover”. So I’ve narrowed it down between the Superweave and the Ultraweave. The Superweave is rated as the overall best, but it’s also the most expensive. The Ultraweave appears to be a good cover that can do the job just fine. I’ll probably call James and ask him about the differences between the two, but if anyone has ever dealt with either of these materials I would like to hear their input. Thanks in advance.
