Default stock wheels

Hey Everyone,
Unfortunately I ran alongside a curb today and scuffed up my driver side front and back rims..

I wanted to know where I could order 1 front, and 1 back rim.. just the stock ones that come with the 2007 Nismo... I have been having a hard time finding them! Does anyone know where I can go?

Thanks,
Brandon

Ouch ! That sucks.....I've been trying to find someone with those rims who is selling them for a while.

It seems that all or most of the owners of the Nismo's are holding on to them and not letting them go.

If you decide to get rid of them let me know. I would consider it as long as the rash isn't to bad. Can't you get them repaired ?

Post up some pics & lets see the damage.

If the damage isn't that bad, you can likely get it fixed for about $100 per wheel or less.

I hit some debris on the freeway and one of my tires is a bit scratched up. If this had happened a few months ago, I'd be pissed, but now I don't really care.

You can but you will pay top dollar. $1000 per rim or somewheres around that.

Yes the Nismo Rim is ridiculously expensive; I think I was quoted around $1100 for one! Rather save that money for some new tires so I am in the process of getting my rim repair. For small curb rash is $109-$150, but its a whole different story for my case where they have to stripped the paint. Hopefully I will get my wheel back tomorrow.

WOW, they had to strip it down all the way to repair!
What the heck happened to it?

@VENOMSZ

I don't mean to jack the OP thread but let me try to make a long story short --
I had a nail in one of my tire and took it to NTB b/c the dealer didn't want to repair it and quoted me $400 for a tire. NTB did fixed my nail problem but ended up scratching my rim. So the manager sent it to Wheel Technologies to repair the slight scratch but this is what WT sent back to me

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/21832652@N08/2652743229/" title="IMG_0757 by kaspia, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3037/2652743229_4f770ee7fa.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_0757" /></a>
Don't know why they had to paint over my entire rim!? and paint drip and dried up all over the inner well of the rim
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/21832652@N08/2653567720/" title="IMG_0758 by kaspia, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3231/2653567720_4e65d66fb5.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_0758" /></a>

So after two attempts and Wheel Tech. couldn't do it -- I told NTB I will pick another place and NTB will take the tab. I heard lots of good recommendation that SABS do good work.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/21832652@N08/2652743467/" title="IMG_0764 by kaspia, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3057/2652743467_f17f1b08e4.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_0764" /></a>
So SABS took over but had to stripped the paint b/c the paint was too thick and color didn't even match. I just called SABS and they say its not quite ready yet -- doing some final tweaks. Hopefully this afternoon I won't be disappointed at their work.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/21832652@N08/2652743571/" title="IMG_0767 by kaspia, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3170/2652743571_699418e0db.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="IMG_0767" /></a>
The moral of the story is NEVER go to NTB. and if the scratch isn't that bad -- just live with it b/c its more trouble than its worth.
I notice you are also in the Houston area. So if you see a Nismo Z limping on the road -- understand my pain. Its not that I don't want to drive fast people! I'm on a spare tire so stop honking at me!! Sigh

What side of town are you on, and where is SABS located?
I've never seen or heard of them. I have a slow leak in my
rear driver side tire...I have to air it up every 2 or 3 days.
I want to buy a new tire, or get it fixed, but I am scared to death
to take it anywhere! As you know, all the tire shops in Houston
deal with big fat chrome wheels, and don't take any care in not
scratching, or destroying them. I wish I could find a place that
knows what they are doing.

@VENOMSZ
SABS is located by Bissonnet; for more detail, click on the SAB sign picture above.

I am by Hobby Airport side of town; Southeast. Sound like the same problem with my tire when I have to pump air every few days. I can't really find any place to trust with my wheels. My next set of tires will definitely have Free Replacement Road Hazard Protection. I think I will give Discount Tire a try; not many place in Houston area. Just remember to keep stressing to any place you go to about careful not to scratch the rim when they are mounting the tire onto the rim.

SABS just told me that they just got my rim out of the oven from powder-coating it. They need to do some final buffing and let the paint cure overnight. So I can come pick it up tomorrow morning. I will let you guys know how this "Rim Repair Experience" goes and any tips I can give from this.

Update: 7/26/08 6PM
I got my wheels back from SABS. Excellent Job!

NTB will order me another "NISMO" sticker (lost 5HP w/o my sticker )

Nice Job - I curb rubbed my OEM wheel and had the rash repaired for $85.00 by Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. Check out their website. The work they did is awesome and you can not tell where the rash was. Alot cheaper than buying a used or new wheel.
