i was just seeing what other nismo owners thought about this hood. i am currently getting pricing on it. its an mcr part from japan. fully functional, and used on their track cars. my hood got dented and i need to either replace it or get it fixed. as far as i know, there are none of these hoods currently in the US. i am not a fan of any of the aftermarket hoods i have seen. this one seems to flow very nicely with the lines of the nismo.

The MCR hood is roughly $1K, but ordering could make it quite pricey.

Also look into the Top Secret hood for '07+ Zs.

MCR hood is definitely cheaper than the Top Secret.

Also, the canards won't work with the USDM NISMO bumper due to the front reflectors. You would have to order a JDM bumper.

I tried to get the MCR Canards for my Redline. Andy @ Performance Nissan never got back to me! Go figure. Esp with as many mods as I purchased through him. "sigh"

I do like the MCR Hood but with shipping its quite pricey. But If I was in your shoes with a dented hood I'd go the same route.

 

I got the top secret carbon hood from Z1 Motorsports. Its so nice and fits perfect. It was pretty expensive but I would do it again.

 

The mcr hood looks awesome. I would use it. Does anyone know what material the hood is made of?
