Default Picking up Nismo this weekend

Hi, I'm picking up a new Nismo this weekend. I'm already thinking about mods. What would be the best $1000 worth of mods to start? Stillen headers look like they give another 15HP, so I was considering that. Is there better bang for the buck?

Best bang for the buck: Test pipes. I would get those and a new exhaust.

There seems to be a big difference in price among brands, anywhere from a little over $100 up to $300. Is APS the preferred brand?

The AAM test pipes seem to be pretty high quality at a decent price. I wouldn't go too skimpy here. Stay clear of EBAY test pipes.

headers generally do nothing for your car...stillen and borla being two that come to mind.

supposedly, xerd long tube headers or crawford headers give better performance.

Do ya think the headers were improved on the 07 - 08?
I was looking into the Stillen Headers also...
Saw your sig. and it looks like you have an 06.

start with injen intakes and some test pipes or high flow cats. Don't waste your money on the headers.
